Chopped stand mat is a nonwoven that consists of randomly distributed chopped strands held together with a powder binder or emusion binder.  It is compatible with unsaturated polyester, vinylester and epoxy resins.

The product is widely used in hand lay-up process.  It is also suitable for filament winding,  compression moulding and continuous lamination processes.  The typical applications include various type of panels, boats, sanitary ware, automotive parts and cooling towers.
